Guest guest
Okay, I am now going to stop filling up the message board with yogurt things. It all came out fine, I used my DH as a guinea pig last night and he's fine this morning. I guess it's pretty hard to mess this stuff up! Any tips on getting yogurt into boys who don't eat certain textures... ie)slimy things? Pax ( and thanks for helping me with food paranoia!) sarah --- Patti wrote: > , > Hmmmm...... I don't know. Guest guest
, Since we usually recommend starting with just 1/4 tsp, you could hide it in anything that's not too hot. You could mix it in mayonnaise, or any type of dip. You could put 1/4 tsp of it in their grape juice. If you tell us what is well liked, we might come up with better suggestions. Guest guest
If he can swallow pills, I would use a empty veg capsule. sarah corman wrote: Okay, I am now going to stop filling up the message board with yogurt things. He eats meat if there's no sauce, almond flour pancakes, apples, cheese, will drink juice (he misses milk so maybe a sort of smoothie would work for him), he'll eat veggies- loves squash and beans- but i tried pureeing yogurt into veg and he can taste it. (darn) I'm sure you've all been through this one... he will identify the taste of yogurt, link yogurt to slime and then decide he doesn't like it- whether or not the quality he dislikes is discernable. It could be tha i's just not time but I'll keep trying. Eventually he'll get used to seeing it there. trying to be patient, sarah > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Whatever you add it to will taste more sour. You could offset the sour with a bit of honey probably. Does he take any supplements? How do you get those into him? Jody mom to -5 and -7 SCD 19 months
