Guest guest
Donna - I was injured in Oct of 1999 and Sept of 2000 it when I got the certified letter staying they were unable to hold my job anylonger. They also cut off my medical insurance. Its lovely what they do to us, isn't it? It killed me inside, I will never ever forget that day as long as I live. And I thought "hell, i'll make them pay" and that blew back in my face. But what can u do other then go on and hopefully help other pp in the same situation. And the thing that killed me the most was I worked for an insurance agency! We were advised to tell our clients NEVER to fire someone on work comp. You would not believe the number of employers that would call up and ask that ?. Well, see, my company didn't practice what they preached, but they did find a legal way around it. Glad your injection has helped ya and increased those pain levels. Sounds to me like your case mgr needs to get you in a program that has both OT & PT. I've attended one like that b/f but beware it is very hard!Love, Danette In a message dated 8/24/2004 4:29:28 PM Eastern Standard Time, RSD-CRPSofAmerica writes: DanetteThanks, thats what concerns me most. I've attended one like that b/f but beware it is very hard! Hi Danette The injections have worked to a point I guess but Im not sure what he has stirred up as well. I've had moer outright pain to the arm and neck the last few days, not so much burning but aching of the muscles to where I took a vicodan (which I think combined with the neurontin made me very ill). As well, for a short period of time ALL of my skin burned at a very lowkey level, my arms and my legs at the top of my thighs as well as my back. Nothing that styed with me but just throughout the day until after my last neurontin dose last night. I'll try and reach him today for his opinion. Also, I am returning to Pt again as well as my OT, this time my script specifies soft tissue mobility so lets see if they get this right thistime, if not Im thinking they may make me switch facilities. Have a great day Donna
