Guest guest
Hi All, I've only been on the list for a week or two and already I've picked up terrific tips to help my rosacea. THe first one was the ZincO By Dr. Sy. This is working wonderful for me - very soothing and provides a nice even coverage for my face during the day. The second one which had me skeptical was the use of zinc oxide diaper rash lotion (!) I apply this at night and let most of it soak in and blot the rest off before going to bed. I use the new Desitin Creamy ointment it worked very well on my skin. In fact, this has worked better in a short time than my minocycline and metrocreme did in a months. I had no problem washing off the Desitin in the morning actually most of it had been absorbed into the skin. - I used the Oil of Olay Foaming Wash for Sensitive skin to wash it off also recommended by someone on the list. I am thrilled by the affects of the zinc oxide with my rosacea - who would've thought diaper rash ointment would work. The bumps and redness have calmed down considerably and are barely noticable. Flushing is still a problem and I am hoping to try photoderm someday. Thank you all for the tips and keep them coming! Jan
