Hi Carolyn--I'm going to help save you some time-- you need to go to

the Files

/files/

Click on how to hair test and then click on how to post hair test

results to the board and there will be something you can cut and

paste into your message and then you fill in all the information that

it asks for...without all the info, no one can help you analyze it.

Hello Carolyn,

Lately I've been " lazy " and left all the hair test posts to

Andy and others to " count " . However, yours is one that is

" easy " for me--- at a glance, without doing the rest of

the " counting " stuff, you've got 4 reds in the essential

elements, so this qualifies as " likely mercury toxic " .

Not copper toxic.

I'm also a little suspicious about whether these test results

are show a POTENTIAL adrenal issue--- the pattern you have

here is NOT the exact thing Andy says indicates this--

but your test is quite " pronounced " with 2 REDS for

sodium and potassium, so I'm suspicious. In any case,

this would just be something to look into, or do further

tests, and NOT anything conclusive.

best,

Moria

I take the 50th percentile is where the green and white meets on the left end

of the white bar-correct?

okay. the percentages and colors:

the first thing is to notice that the format differs for

the toxic section vs. the essential elements section.

the toxics section is " one directional " . on the left side

is 0 or lowest--- which for toxics is " good " . The colors

go from green to yellow to red, moving toward the right

side of the page, as the numbers get bigger.

the essential elements section is " two directional " . It

goes from the MIDDLE (white) outward in both directions.

With essential elements one can be UNDER the reference

range or OVER it. (unlike toxics, where none is the " best "

result).

The MIDDLE is 50% or " totally average " . Then comes

green, yellow, and red, ON BOTH SIDES. If you will

humor me that the line " starts " in the MIDDLE, and goes

toward one side or the other (right or left), then the

place where the line " ends " is what you should report.

That is, report the COLOR where it ends, and report

that it is " over 50% " if it " heads toward the right "

and report that it is " under 50% " if it " heads toward

the left " .

hope that helps.

Hi:

So what would be the best protocal for my son.

He is currently taking Brain Child supplements, Houston's Zymeprime, AFP and

No Fenol and he is also taking Cod Liver oil. He is also on ABILIFY and SEROQUEL

for rages and mood swings. He does take occasional Epson Salt baths. We have

been on a gfcf no yeast, no sugar, no starch diet, no fruit diet.

Now he does have plenty of dental fillings.

He still does have a lot of diarrhea and abdominal pains.

What am I or not doing that I can do to help this situation?

That is over 50%.

You should report it as " white " and " over 50% " .

Obviously, since it ends in white, it is only VERY SLIGHTLY

over 50%, but it still counts.

To be right at 50% (not over or under) the " line " has to

be " a dot " .

Hi: I spoke with our Dan dr. Dr. Toth in Concord, CA and he wants to do

glutathione and nacetlycystein and paleo meal before chelation begins with DMPS

with my son 8yrs old son . He also wants to do a challenge test.

He also is sending my son to Dr. Tim Gilford in Palo Alto, CA because he works

more with kids.

Of course the DMPS can't start until he has had the amalgrams out.

Does anyone know much about these two doctors? I can;t seem to get a good idea

what on earth Dr. Toth's protocal is.

You can also email off list.

I currently live in San Ramon, CA. If anyone knows anyone in my area please

let me know.

Carolyn,

DMPS oral or IV? What dosage and what schedule? Challenge test is a bad idea

as is IV DMPS. Some discussion on this list in the past about glutathione being

a really bad idea for at least some. What's his resaoning for the paleo diet?

You need to ask a lot of questions...

Perfect Colon is a good probiotic containing the ingredients you requested.

On the other questions, there are so many treatments, so many tests, those

that have gone the gamut are usually gracious enough to share their

experiences. We tested for a number of viruses, and got a high active

positive for Herpes 6. Not necessarily the smoking gun for us, but a

definite inhibitor to our son's health and development. Best to do as much

research as possible on your own for the virus aspect of it, and best to

keep an open mind with regard to treatment. I've learned 2 things the hard

way, first, do no harm. Second, listen to your gut. Good luck to you. On the

Oil of Oregano, we used it and we used 2-4 drops a day squirted into empty

Houston enzyme capsules.
