Here is the web site for the manufacturer of DMPS:

http://www.dmps.cc/

Poke around on there and you will find that the manufacturer itself

doesn't recommend that DMPS be used IV. Furthermore, there are

immediate problems with the compound oxidizing when in solution. (I

surmise this leads to infusing some compound that has become

ineffective, plus who know what effect the oxidized compound(s) have)

Might be nice to find out just when DMPS was developed and allowed in

this country.....would put the lie to that 30 year boast.

The audacity of some doctors is just breathtaking.

Sorry I can't help you with the iron thing.

Beth

It should never be done by IV.

Then he is so delusional he isn't capable of practicing medicine

competently.

My book.

Lots of people not listed on the site who had similar or worse

problems.

If you ask around, you will be able to find people the doc shot up who

had problems. These problems are common. No doc does it for long and

doesn't have a patient experience them. Some realize it, some don't.

Vitamin C 4 times a day, vitamin E daily.

Just drip some ferrous sulfate intended as an iron supplement into

regular food.

Andy,

Our pharmacist contacted the Heyl U. S. representative and he said he wasn't

going to order the DMPS because they wanted him to buy so much of it. He

also said that it wasn't the same as DMSA (he sounded rather dubious) and

that two types available are not FDA-approved (meaning what exactly?)

So what's the simplest way of getting this stuff. And how exorbitant is it?

As far as a price... we are charged 40 dollars for 3 cc's of liquid

dmps, each cc has 50 mg's I think. This is a discounted price--

because the doc was able to buy it in bulk she is passing the price

on to me. When I called a local compounding pharmacy, the price they

quoted was over a hundred dollars.

We are using the 3 cc's per round, doing a round every 3 weeks. So

it is pricey. BUT, so far, no yeast problem with it... ;-)

Any doc can Rx oral DMPS in capsules. it doesn't have to be a liquid.

Liquid DMPS has a lot of handling problems that often result in it

being oxidized to ineffective form before it gets inside you.

Andy . . . . .

This is extremely and unreasonably high.

Call the Falls Pharmacy or e-mail them, getit@... .

50 mg is 5 or 10 dollars at reasonable prices, max.
