1 piece ww bread, cubed

1 egg

1/4 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup water

2 pkg sweetener

dash, to taste, cinnamon, and nutmeg

Break up bread and put into nonstick sprayed custard cup, set aside. Whisk together the egg, cream, water, sweetener, and spices until well blended. Pour over bread, and let soak for 15 min. Bake at 350 for 20 min, or until set and browned on top.

Is the heavy cream allowed in Phase 2?

No, you would have to use fat free half and half. Carol

Do you think non-fat evaporated milk would work ok? Dh brought that

home instead of condensed milk when I was doing Christmas baking, and

now I have 5 cans of the stuff and I don't know what to do with it! <G>

that would work from a baking point of view (evaporated milk works in many recipes that calls for cream that does not need to be whipped or fluffy) but I don’t know if it is a SBD legal item...anyone?

Since it is the non-fat version, I don't see why it wouldn't be ok

for for SB. I'm going to have to try it - I LOVE bread pudding! :-D
