Guest guest
Do you think non-fat evaporated milk would work ok? Dh brought that home instead of condensed milk when I was doing Christmas baking, and now I have 5 cans of the stuff and I don't know what to do with it! <G> B. --- " Carol Parsons " <cinders@v...> wrote: > No, you would have to use fat free half and half. Guest guest
that would work from a baking point of view (evaporated milk works in many recipes that calls for cream that does not need to be whipped or fluffy) but I don’t know if it is a SBD legal item...anyone? Since it is the non-fat version, I don't see why it wouldn't be ok for for SB. I'm going to have to try it - I LOVE bread pudding! :-D B.
