Just talked to Janie and I sure hope some of you Nurses can help with this as I am really really worried for her. She has gone through 4 big sized Bath Towels today, her platelets are low, not clotting, and even though packed at 1pm was bleeding hard around packing and was hard enough that sent blood down right side of nose. The bleeding has been out of her left side of nose and of course that was where packing was.

So goes to ER and they send her to the local ENT and sounds fairly good to me. But anyway her numbed her and got packing out and cauterized nose and did not take and had to do it all over again. Then as he was checking her says it looks to him like bleeding is FROM BACK OF HEAD......sorry about large letters just want that noticed. So not inside nose, but back of head and he thinks could be related to her blood pressure being so high last few weeks.

But now while she was at his office her blood pressure was 120/80....or close to that. So not sure if down due to blood loss or just down. Anyway sounds like he expects her to start bleeding again and has orders at ER for what to do as he is on call. He plans on having the Radiologist take needle into groin and go up to see if can find where the bleed is.....now is that not scary ya'll.....is he thinking from brain, can't be from brain can it. Is he thinking what, someone tell me where if not in nose, sinus where in back of head she is bleeding?????

She still has some clots but really they go down throat, the meds he used has her throat yucking feeling, her head of course hurts and she is going to take pain pill, perhaps nausea pill and go to bed. I am really worried. Told her did not care what time of day or night but to call me. She is so scared she just wanted to talk a bit but not long as feels so badly.

I told her would let you all know and if someone has idea what this could be and think I should let her know then would do so. She thinks Hospital good and that this doctor does sound very caring, concerned and ready to do whatever to find out cause of trouble. But you have to recall her blockage to heart, which all are good except just one now that is 65% blocked. The other 2 went from 25% blocked to 0% blockage which of course is great.

Well that is all for now. Going to let her rest and pray she does not need to phone me since if she does will mean at hospital or on her way there. Pray for her please. Thanks
