Jocelyn update (m/c ment.)

Hi everyone:

Well, another pregnancy bites the dust, unfortunately. That is m/c

#4 (and 1 DD). They said it stopped growing at about 6 wks, right

after my last u/s. I was prepared for the bad news though, b/c at

the last u/s they said the trophoblastic tissue looked like a missed

m/c and the gestational sac was irregular and the heartbeat was a bit

slow.

I have to get a d & c b/c my m/c's never come out on their own. I was

given the choice of a general or a local, and choose the general. I

really don't want to be awake for the whole thing. The good news is

that they will send the tissue to the path lab and we will learn if

it was a chromosomal anomoly that caused the m/c. (All of my m/c's

have been early like this.)

I was soooo sick for the last 3 weeks and it was all for nought.

Right now I feel like I never want to be pregnant again (I am really

mad at my uterus)and am interested in investigating intercountry

adoption. DH is not keen on adoption though. I am hoping we can

compromise and try both at the same time, but we'll see.
