My neuro actually called them and spoke to the neuros there though, she knows them from school. I've spoken to the dietician and to the nurse so far. They both seemed nice. Since I had read the book and had some halfway decent questions, the dietician said we didn't need to do the orientation meeting. She also said that she would mail me a package with some info about their particular programme, the scale they recommend etc... BTW, they recommend a scale that weighs up to 2 kg with a 1 gram accuracy. The model they suggest costs about $100. She also recommended that we try to get Gerry used to drinking cream. She also said not to " overdose " Gerry on carbs while we're waiting but that we didn't need to actually cut them until the weekend before he starts the diet. I'll tell you more as I get more info.
