This m/c I had a + hpt on a First Response test, then a hcg of 19 the

next day at the doctors's (really low, I know). 2 days later my hcg

was 4.7 and they said they don't need to do any more follow-up. Dr

said, " It's so low we don't have to worry that it was tubal. " I'm not

so sure what that means though. Can they definitely rule out that I

had another ep just because the numbers were low? And soooo low... did

it even implant? Just curious if anyone has any ideas.

Well, it did implant, if your HCG was measurable. I don't know whether

they can rule out an ep just based on the HCG numbers. When did you do

the HPT? Did you measure your temps during this time? I am curious

what it did. I wonder if I could be havin an early m/c, bc AF is a

couple of days late, but my temp is drifting down slowly.

Dominique,

I would have to say, yes it implanted...I think it has to in order to

start producing the HCG, but I could be wrong. I don't know if the

dr was saying that you could rule out a tubal by low #s, but the fact

that it was under 5 is considered negative regardless of where it had

implanted. So even if it was tubal (which it probably wasn't) it

resolved itself as evidence by the <5 HCG. Does that make any

sense?
