Look them up on the web. They do the same kind of PT that Pendergast does. The vag discharge could be from nerve damage and not necessarily an infection. You could also check Dr. Goldstein - though he is more surgery happy, or Dr. Ledger. Beyond Basics recommends a Dr. Coady, but I have not heard a thing about her from all the message boards I have been on in 10 years. You will get better and out of this Hell. He is the 23rd doc I saw. He properly diagnosed me with pudendal neuralgia and I received two nerve blocks and EXTENSIVE PT. I am now well except for a little twinge of anal pain once in a while, but I'm working on that. I can make it go away with self PT. And I've decided that I have SI joint dysfunction and since starting an excercise program for that I feel much stronger and have not had that anal nonsense (about a month). My gyno said it didn't look like herpes, gave me keflex, and then I got a yeast infection. A blood test later said that I had it. I will never know whether it was yeast or herpes, but I had some itchy discomfort for a couple of weeks before the HUGE swelling that kicked this all off. I didn't have any sores, but i really don't think a yeast infection could do some much damage to my nerves. Guest guest Posted February 14, 2007 Report Share Posted February 14, 2007 My gyno also misdiagnosed my herpes as a yeast infection and I did not get on valtrax until nine days too late. I had a super severe case of herpes and have not been the same since. That is over a year ago. Now I suffer with vv.I went to see an attorney because I really wanted to sue her, but the attorney said that is very difficult to prove so I dropped that idea. In the last year I have lost a relationship, my sexual health and at times I thought my mind. I am trying to hang in there and hearing from many of you out there has helped my sanity.
