I was in no mood yesterday to get into the whole deal of seeking out

yet a new Dr. however Im in a better frame of mind today. I will call

my case manager on Monday and talk to her about the next step to

take, after I have to have someone following me, as of right now

theres no one really. I live about 45 min north of Boston so I am in

hopes that there is someone who will answer my prayers lol. I just

hate the idea of going to yet another dr and telling my story. I've

seen the w/c dr, my primary, 2 hand specialists, my pain management

dr, 2 OT therapists and 2 PT therapists. Its getting redundant LOL

But my chin is up and Im in a far better mood today..perhaps things

will start looking up I just have to desire it enough to make it

happen I guess.

Medicaid will send a list of all doctors that will take Medicaid and you will have to fill out this little form they send you along with that list, including which doctor you pick out of their list.

Hi Jo,

I went down to the Medicaid office and asked the girl at the desk for a list of providers...medical and dental and she told me they don't have them..she said because providers are put on and taken off so much that it's pointless to try to keep up with it so she told me to just "start calling around"...well I called the Kingston Pain Management Center and they don't take it and they're the only center in Ulster County and their office has locations right down to the border of NYC so right on down the line through 6 counties that center is and they don't take it..thanks for thinking of that though..
