Guest guest
Ginny, Thanks for the info, that is where I'm having such a problem. I don't have anybody to support me during the time it takes to get approved. I know I should qualify but as you said, it can take years. I don't know what to do anymore. Guest guest
Danette, can you tell me do you have Fibro and if so is it severe or mild, and what led you to go off pain meds, and how long did it take and was it your idea or your pain doctors? I have a Pain Doctor that wants me to go off all my Pain Meds and I have such Severe Fibro that it alone was what led my Rhuematologist to put me on Permanent Total Disability, not counting the arthritis, and all other problems and rsd......I really get scared to think of even trying to get off pain meds and just cannot understand how you did it. I applaud your ability, and think it is a good to be able to do this, just is out of my realm of understanding how. Please tell me Danette how you can do this. I hope it is okay to ask you. You must be very strong lady. Take care and really sorry that your company let you go when did not have date to come back. was first on short term disability then long term disability, but then she was not hurt at work so workers comp not involved that I am aware. Guess that is good. But then with w/c at least she would have chance of having medical bills paid for. Oh well, I am rambling....sorry about that. s Momma JoAnn ginny Ginny - Ohh my I know about not being able to eat like I used to. No corn on the cob and let me tell you NJ has the best sweet corn in the summer! I stay away from anything that requires alot of chewing or anything opening my mouth up too wide. No gum, just breath candies now for me. My meds have been switch around quite alot since Jan. Right now I am only taking Gabitril and Lidoderm patches for the pain. I got myself off all my pain meds, which I am happy about Well gotta go & get ready for work soon.
