Here the atty handles the first calls, but then the case manager doesn't have to talk to you through the atty. They do have to send reports to the atty. Subject: Re: donna Actually, if you have a lawyer, W/C Case Managers are not allowed to talk to you straight thru any longer. They are supposed to talk to your lawyer and then your lawyer is supposed to relay the message to you, OR, it is supposed to be a 3-way phone call, where you and the case manager can talk, but your lawyer is on the line to make sure that the Case Manager doesn't try to get info out of you or that you don't tell them anything that they really don't need to know.
