another newbie

Hi all

My name is Belinda, or Bindi as I am known to friends. Hubby and I began SB

three weeks ago. We have an 8mth old daughter and I had pregnancy weight

plus some that I wanted to lose. I have lost 15lb so far and want to lose

another 24 at least. My first goal was to get back to my prepregnancy

weight...which I have done already!! Now for the extra that crept up on me

over the last 4 years. Hubby has lost a bit more than me but he is not

telling how much. We are Aussies but currently living in the United Arab

Emirates, finding it a bit hard to find some food items here but we are

doing our best to subsitute.

Used some dried large white beans last night to make a good subsitute for

mashed potatoes...looks the same and is yummy.

Hubby was made redundant last week so we are under a bit of stress but

trying hard not to slip back to old habits of crying in a packet of

chocolate biscuites.

How much excersise is everyone doing? I am walking for about an hour a day,

pushing our 20lb daughter, probably not enough but some is better than none.
