Guest guest
HI Tahna, Someone mentioned just holding on to the IEP and not signing it. That may not be a good idea if you have changes in the old IEP that you want implemented immediately. My understanding is that if you do not sign the new IEP within 10 days, then the old IEP stays in effect. I ran into that problem when we changed service providers in our IEP and I wasn't happy with other things in the draft IEP. I signed the IEP in order to get the new service provider and we then worked through the other issues with modifications to the new IEP. I signed the new IEP because getting the new service provider was the most important thing to me, the other issues were secondary and I was willing to let them slide a bit. I don't know if that is the case with you , mom to (11,HAs), (9,no loss), (5 1/2, CI 7/99)
