Guest guest
I think measuring other people's fat/calorie/carbs whatever and TELLING them about it is totally out of bounds and inappropriate! as is in any way trying to impose your diet on anyone else. food allergies is one thing -- if you could die if you get exposed to peanuts, please tell me about it so i dont accidentally expose you to them! -- but burdening everyone else with your tedious fat gram counting... yuck! even at my worst I was super private about it... probably because of shame. but that's another story. anyway, i think it's totally reasonable that you were annoyed. abby App. 20 people went for pizza and wings this weekend. Everyone was having so much fun. Then this one person for the whole evening started about how she has only lost two pounds since October; she actually brought out her calculator to tally her fat and calorie grams for the dinner then went on about the figures for what other people were eating and drinking, which I felt was all within reason. She ordered a salad that to me that probably as much as the pizza and wings. I saw her constantly eying the wings. I was so annoyed by the end of the night I really don't want to be around that anymore - it was so extreme from everyone else's enjoyment. I felt no one over did it with the food or drink; just a night out to have fun. I really did not think she was having any fun and she seemed kinda grumpy by the end of it. It brought back all the days of deprivation, starvation and yo-yoing. Jo.
