Guest guest
" I've always found a more serious message about myself or my life. Sometimes it gives me peace, sometimes instruction (once you see the real truth, the actions steps become obvious) sometimes it helps me work through unresolved grief. " Karla, this feels true for me too. Dreams contain such significant material and I think they can help us see and know in ways that are hard to do while awake. I'm only remembering fragments so far but I feel like it's good to keep at it. Thanks for the encouragement! SurvivingKO, wow so you are able to really speak the truth to your nada in these dreams! How do you feel this affects your ability to deal with her in real life? Like right after you have one of those dreams do you feel different or more empowered at all? As a child I used to have dreams of beating her up that I still remember and I felt terribly guilty. Back then I had no understanding of why I'd ever dream such a thing. Girlscout, you go girl! In your red camero zooming down the highway to freedom! It sounds like you've got a really clear cut scenario to work with that recurs - trapped in the home needing to get out. Let us know how it goes - wishing you much success. A few years ago during my one period of NC with my nada I had many dreams of storming out of the childhood home after fighting with my FOO and then being lost and confused out in the world...no symbolism there eh?
