Guest guest
My OB thinks I have a bicornuate uterus. I am 24 and have had two miscarriages, one at 10 weeks and one at 19 weeks. After the second miscarriage, my husband and I had bloodwork done and the baby's skin was sent off for testing. Everything came back fine. At first my doctor had said not to worry about my uterus, that it wouldn't be a problem. She said that it just meant that I might deliver early or have a breech birth. Now after my second miscarriage she says that maybe the placenta is attaching to a septum and not providing enough blood flow to the baby. I have an appointment next month with a specialist. I guess to find out whether or not I should have surgery to remove the septum. I don't know what to expect and would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
