Guest guest
Sorry I am not answering your question, but asking more information from you. How was your experience with chelating before you did this long round? I am at present starting a long ALA only round with my children in the hope, that they would benefit more than they do on the usual 3-day rounds. Thank you for any answer. Dagmar. [ ] Dana - Long Chelation Round Hi Dana, I followed your examples and put both of my sons through a long chelation round (2 weeks every 8 hours) with DMSA only. It was a big success. Please be aware that my children have been chelated for almost 3 years. I want to do another long chelation round with DMSA/ALA. Does anyone aware of any bad issues regarding to long chelation rounds? Thanks. =======================================================
Guest guest
We have used " Andy protocol " for the last three years. It was a good success because both of my sons are 99% recovered. After the two- week chelation round, my younger son (4 1/2) lost the dark circles under his eyes (Yippee). He is also much calmer during and after the long round. Please be aware that my sons have been chelated with DMSA/ALA (low dosage every 4 hours) for almost three years. I am not recommending this long round method in new to chelation. I do not know if it works for new patients. --- In , " Dagmar " <dagmarjahr@e...> wrote: > Sorry I am not answering your question, but asking more information from you. Does anyone aware of any bad issues regarding to long > chelation rounds? I used ALA 3x per day for approx 4 weeks, until my son needed a break for me to remove supplements. The problems I saw were need for GSE and zinc even tho he had not had a yeast or copper issue in about a year. My son will regress when he no longer needs a supplement, and he had a regression near the 4 week mark so I stopped the ALA and removed all the remaining supplements I used. I added them back one at a time and he needed only 3 supplements. At the end of that 4 week period, he tolerated all foods without enzymes, and needed only cal/mag, CLO, and OLE. I did high dose vitamin A protocol during this period also. I am currently trying Lauricidin instead of OLE, but I don't know if it is more effective for my kids than the OLE. Longer is actually " better " , since you have MORE doses-in-a-row before you stop. Which is " better " . Then again, most people get really sleep deprived from the night doses and do not want to do longer rounds... http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/Andy_dose_sched.html good wishes, Moria
Guest guest
Thank Moria for you information. After three years of chelation, what is " sleeping " anyway? > > We have used " Andy protocol " for the last three years. It was a good > > success because both of my sons are 99% recovered. Guest guest
Dana, before using the long round method, in the first three years, how long did each round of chelation last? Very happy to hear that your 2 sons are 99% recovered. I am now 3 days on, 4 days off. I hope I can recover someday too. Chan. > > We have used " Andy protocol " for the last three years. Guest guest
Hi, I guess your question is for me not Dana. For the first three years, it was either 3 days on 11 days off or 3 days on 4 days off. The timing was all depend on my two sons and mine health. > > > We have used " Andy protocol " for the last three years. It was a > good > > > success because both of my sons are 99% recovered.
