Guest guest
Dear Heidi: The Viocase generic that my doctor prescribed is " Panokase " - They are a large pill with a matte finish - so I assume they're not coated - and as I recall, some of you folks were really urging me to take Prilosec or something akin it if I re taking Viocase... Is that the case with this generic too, do you know? I'm kind of flying blind here. Also, my PCP told me not to just take them at meals, but during the day to just " Pop a few " ... as that would help with my overall enzyme production. I thought that sounded like it made sense. Suggestions? Thoughts? Experience? Thank you very much. Terry in KC << That's why my doctor prescribed the eneric coated ones instead, (Pancrelipase) because you don't need the antiacids to go with them, and because they are a higher dosage, I only have to take 2 with each meal and snack. >>
