Question for Dr. Milhorat's suprasinus pts.

Hi,

I have a question for anyone who had the suprasinus decompression with Dr.

Milhorat and then had to have a reoperation for the scar retraction. I'd

like to know the outcome of the 2nd surgery....did you have a plate put in?

a shunt? a plate and a shunt? And most important how are you doing?

I just got back from NY last week and Dr. Bolognese told me I need to have a

shunt and a plate and I'm just trying to decide what to do....I know how

important the shunt is and how important the decompression is....I'd just

like to hear from anyone that had to have a 2nd decompression with a

cranioplasty and how they are doing?

I'm trying to decide if I should do them both together how he offered, which

is doing the shunt 1st, then 3 days later the plate and staying in for

another 5 days or so...or to seperate them....any advice would be greatly

appreciated....
