My dearest Rob,

I am so sorry that this stupid disease made you leave your job. I know how

passionate music makers are, and I know this is devastating. Keep your

credential up, just in case you feel better in a few years. I have missed

many days in my 13 years of teaching music. So far, no one has told me to

stop, and I just keep taking pain pills when I feel pain and try my best. I

hope that in a few years your pancreatitis will change like mine.

In the meantime, like suggested, you might teach privately or take on a

small church job. What do you play? I would certainly hire you!!! I DO

HAVE A MASTERS RECITAL IN JUNE! I will definitely be praying for you!
