Hi all,

It's a new day and I'm hopeful but still not feeling better. I've

taken a few punches and still feel weak. To make matters more

difficult I've been battling a wicked cold for over a week. It's

probably a die off reaction. I read somewhere that disbiosis can mask

itself as flu symptoms.

OK, here's my question. My son loves eggs. He never had them before

SCD and now he can't get enough of them. Literally. He will eat as

many as 6 or 7 at one meal. And then ask for more at lunch and

supper. Of course I don't feed him eggs all day long but should he

even be eating as many as 6 or 7 a day. He's about 35 lbs. max.

What are the possible side offects of eating too many eggs? Could

this be the cause of constipation?

Also, just to be clear, is the first stage of foods one in the same

as the intro diet? If not, then is it OK to stay at the first stage

until we are experiencing normal BMs? I think I misinterpreted some

of the info in BTVC. We are now eating broiled steaks, broiled

turkey burgers, broiled hamburgers, broiled chicken burgers, chicken

stir fry without the fry (everything is steamed and thrown together

with a little honey and garlic), pepper only sausages broiled,

steamed beans, steamed carrots, zuchini, spinach, apple and pear

sauce, chicken soup with pureed carrots and chopped green beans,

small pieces of chicken, grape juice, just started pinapple juice and

apple cider. Every one is on the ASD SCD because it's less

complicated for me when preparing meals. As a note, everything is

certified organic. Is there a max. time to spend at each stage. I'm

concerned about getting enough variety in our diet. And frankly we

are getting bored of the same od things!

With gratitude and prayers,

, SCD wk 3, two and a half yr old/typical, four yr old/ASD
