phenobarb IV has carbs?...

When I saw this post about IV phenobarb my mind went back to a

conversation I was having with someone from the group. I too saw a

potential problem. My son was getting the IV phenobarb but we were

giving it through his G-tube and it wasn't until I was home from the

hospital and getting the dose ready that some got on my hand and I

noticed how sticky it was and immediately put it to my mouth to taste

pure sweetness. I too was ready to strangle someone. I am sorry for

you further distress and apologize I didn't make a bigger issue about

this when I posted the first time.

I assume you think the glucol was some form of sugar, although I've

never heard of it, does sound awful close to glucose though

Well put another notch on your belt, another lesson learned, the hard

way for Logan unfortunately
