Guest guest
Doug...you have my humblest apologies. This is one of the obvious dangers of the written word vs. the spoken...one can't hear the inflection intended by the writer. I love a good joke...and so I am delighted to be able to read your comment in the spirit in which it was intended, and to appreciate it! Thanks Doug, for taking the time to explain. Guest guest
Ellen, I am saddened by your response to my little spate of auto-satire -- i.e. I was having a moment's fun with the unconventional belief(s) we have, or entertain, in common. I'd just like to assure you that I was not writing to ridicule. I want you to know that if there's a line between people like us and stepnazis and similar varieties of ignorant and offensive slime-ball then I want to be on the same side as you. It is not easy to believe that the world as we live in it is being directed for evil ends towards a dumbed-down programmed reality -- it's the sort of stuff that people find themselves written off as loonies for thinking. So surely we can take a joke, to ease the feeling of exposure that might accompany such radical opinions . . . look, please get this straight -- I am not a stepnazi, nor any other kind of nazi and I'm sorry if I bothered you with a joke based on the steps -- they certainly aren't innately funny. As free human beans in an increasingly fenced off and value-less society we are in this together, and I'd rather blow the whole place to kingdom come than see New World Order zombies deprive my children of the power to think. This is not a " structured " reply, but I hope I've made my point and maybe I'll think twice before making any more flakey jokes about the steps, Best wishes, Ellen, . p.s. Senor, senor, you know their hearts is as hard as leather. Well, give me a minute, let me get it together. I just gotta pick myself up off the floor. I'm ready when you are, senor. Senor, senor, let's disconnect these cables, Overturn these tables. This place don't make sense to me no more. Can you tell me what we're waiting for, senor?
