Guest guest
Look at www.testfoundation.org for some information to print off for him. Good for him to be questioning this, and how lucky that he has a girlfriend studying methylmercury! Guest guest
Thanks, and I have his email...that's why he's worried I'm going to swamp him with information, thus why I'm asking for people to let me know their first choice. Will read what you sent before putting together my email for him. Thanks, La Rue [ ] Re: Information for a dentist to be > Look at www.testfoundation.org > for some information to print off for him. > > Good for him to be questioning this, and how lucky that he has a > girlfriend studying methylmercury! > > W > > > > > SO, my cousin asked me to send him information, and I mentioned > that I could > > send him enough to keep him busy for a year. Guest guest
Several dentists have written books on the subject: Toxic Time-Bomb by Ziff, DDS; He and his brother Sam also have one about the connection between Mercury and birth defects and stillbirths. I'll send exact title when I get home. Also one by Guy Fasciana, DDS, and Pat Stortebecker (sp?), DDS of Sweden, I think. > There's also " It's all in Your Head " by Hal Huggins, but I'd hook him with the ones by dentists first. Somewhere there's a study showing that dentists have the highest rate of suicide and relating that to high mercury exposure. When he showed up for our Aunts
funeral this weekend I told him I had to ask one question, but I wouldn't
harp on him, just the wrong time. So I asked what he's being taught about
mercury, and he basically gave me the company line..

Then, that evening he and his girlfriend (a med student) asked me what I
know about mercury poisoning. He was very concerned because he knows that
it's toxic, but in the classes where they are working with it they don't
take any precautions, so everyone is exposed through the entire class. The
girlfriend is actually working on a study about methylmercury, so she's
concerned as well about his health, and wanted to know about Autism.
Unfortunately we left Tristan with my inlaws, so she didn't get to meet
Tristan. Though I'm debating if I can live without
the book and send it to him.

He also mentioned that he sees no reason to use it in practice, but to pass
his class he HAS to put one in a person. He hates the idea of poisoning
someone, and is hoping that for the class he can then demonstrate the proper
way to remove one.

Then, when he graduates, he's going to remove mine Can't wait!!!!! Guest guest
The other Ziff book is " Infertility & Birth Defects: Is Mercury From Silver Dental Fillings an Unsuspected Cause? " Joyal , DDS has written " The Complete Guide to Mercury Toxicity from Dental Fillings " . Andy Cutler, PhD, who participates on this list, has written a book entitled " Amalgam Illness " and has another one in the works. S Replying to: One of my cousins is in dental school. Guest guest
I suggest the following 2 fact sheets: www.home.earthlink.net/~berniew1/damspr1.html and www.home.earthlink.net/~berniew1/damspr6.html Bernie 1st is general documentation on exposure levels from amalgam and effects 2nd is specifically the major occupational effects on dental staff and dental students.
