Guest guest
Hi folks with mail problems .... At the bottom of the postings is the following ....... Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions. HOWEVER ..... remember that the webmaster is a single parent, working full-time mito mom and check out the following FIRST .... before you contact her! Attention List Owner .... you OWE me BIG TIME! :-D ;-) Go to <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Mito/> ...... and if you are asked to identify yourself .... and you can't do it!!!! ...... join Yahoo! (see next!) To join Yahoo .... follow the link provided then it asks you to choose a name for yourself (an ID). This is NOT your email address, although you may want to use the part of your address BEFORE the "@"! Then it will ask you to provide a password (actually the SAME password TWICE!) Typically your password should be something that has some meaning and most smart people use a combination of numbers and upper and lower case letters and have a note of the password somewhere handy and unobtrusive! Yahoo follows their questionnaire (which it is NOT necessary to answer more than just the basic questions) with a wonderful series of potentially money-making or bothersome offers with little boxes where you can indicate your choices! MAKE SURE THAT YOU READ and answer according to your wishes!!! You might want to visit the Yahoo privacy site at <http://privacy.yahoo.com/> and give a read and perhaps check out the links given! You will not be able to get beyond the sign up page unless you join up ..... and this means that you will not have access to the websites for your lists. This may not bother you UNTIL you change your email address .... but, unfortuanately, list owners are no longer able to do this for you .... so you will need to access Yahoo for that. You MAY have been able to join Mito list WITHOUT joining Yahoo! So NOW ... you should be able to get into <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Mito/> CHECK the link in the heading entitled "Edit my Membership" ..... you can change your address and your mail delivery mode here. You can also unsubscribe here! Make sure you click on the grey button that says "Save Changes" If you are STILL having problems ...... Look for the link to "My Groups" at the top of the page <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Mito/> This page may give you a clue as to the source of your problem. There are also blue links to sites where you may be able to make changes. If you are getting NO Yahoogroups mail from any group ..... your server may be bouncing your mail (perhaps your mailbox is full ? :-D ) .... and this is something that you should contact your list owner about because she can help you reactivate your bouncing address!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK! Shepherd sweetjayne1@... wrote: In a message dated 04/21/2003 3:23:05 PM Pacific Daylight Time, orrmullane@... writes: It's your mail. Mine's been weird, too. I checked the messages on the yahoo site and I'm getting maybe 1/3 of them. Does anybody know how to fix this? Ditto here...I am only getting minimal mail. How about emailing the postmaster or / and webmaster or support @ Yahoo? Anyone? Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
