Hi,

I read in the article written by Dr. Amy Holmes that adding Glycine to

every dose of DMSA/ALA increases the excretion of mercury from the

body. Has anyone used this and seen an effects - positive or

negative? What dose did you use.

This is not correct, however glycine is calming and supports liver

health. It may be helpful symptomatically, it is inexpensive and

there is no reason not to use it.

Dear ,

Are you using the glycine for its calming effect etc? We use it for our

14 year old daughter to help calm her rages and temper tantrums associated

with puberty. However, when I give her more than one 500 mg capsule a day,

she gets very giddy and slap happy. How is your daughter adjusting to 2 a

day?
