Guest guest
Yeah but for your "less then $400" what are you getting? Does it have any power? Can I play WoW on it ? And no, I'm not going to even hint to him, next thing I know there will be one on my doorstep...this morning there was "yet another" box, this one had...a hairdryer...top of the line, nice, but I haven't used a hairdryer in at least 16 years, last time I used one I was in my camper and it was winter and the door had frozen shut, I used it to thaw the lock... ~*~ Akiba~*~ ~*~Pragmatic Visionary~*~ The World revolves around the Sun My World revolves around My Son That which does not kill me only serves to make me stronger --* Re: hello group!(debbi brant)all ok> >> >> >> > * I will have to work on that because my fingers don't want to hit the> > capslocks too often/ lol. Guest guest
I'm running a dual core processor with HD video on this less than, actually $379 laptop.. Toshiba.. and the guy I work for tells me he's had all brands of laptops. (dell, gateway, hp, etc).. and he'd rather have a Toshiba than anything else.. power.. yeah.. I get the " good " graphic in Runescape.. with very little disturbance.. Movies are great etc.. sound leaves a little to be desired.. but then it's a laptop.. and not meant to be compared to my 5.1 surround on the desktop where I entertain at wedding receptions & picnics.. with my music.. lol.. yeah.. I'm a music freak.. And I didn't say ask him.. not by a long shot.. but IF he should mention he has a laptop and he's thinking of getting a new one.. hey... Guest guest
Yeah, the laptop I *had* was a Toshiba, it was great, until Unkle Mikey's cat pissed on it and fried it...but when It was working it was a great unit... See, with *this* Mike, he is one of those guys who if you even *mention* something he thinks you want it...and (as in the case of the hairdryer) even if you *don't* mention something...because believe me the last thing I need is a hairdryer lol...unless this door is going to freeze, too? ~*~ Akiba~*~ ~*~Pragmatic Visionary~*~ The World revolves around the Sun My World revolves around My Son That which does not kill me only serves to make me stronger --* Re: hello group!(debbi brant)all ok> > >> > >> > >> > > * I will have to work on that because my fingers don't want to hit the> > > capslocks too often/ lol. Guest guest
I have no clue. Today did not go well. I do not have any visitation other then telephone, unless I can get to Philly, and then only a day visit. Rob is saying that I cannot care for Robbin because of my MS, which is SUCH a lie but the guy bought it. SO, I need to get my ass to a Dr to have him fill something out saying that I AM capable of caring for my son. Meantime, I do have daily phone calls, which is better then I had but SUCKS BIG EGGS. My moving to Reading was held against me, the master thought I could have gotten something closer, even though Tom argued otherwise. My not having a vehicle was ALSO held against me. I am supposed to coordinate visits with Rob (or have my atty fax his atty etc...) and Rob is supposed to bring Robbin to the bus station, where I can visit with him until it is time for me to take a bus back here. That is totally unacceptable. We DID apply for a judicial hearing with a judge, but that will also take time, meanwhile, that rat bastard still is getting away with murder (MINE) SO, I can take my kidlet and wheel myself around Philly for a few hours, that is unless Rob doesn't bring him (and THAT WOULD constitute contempt and be actionable) or keeps stalling with he can't make it that day kinda shit ('scuse my French, I am not feeling particularly polite at this moment). And of course you know that is I DON'T find a way to get down there and see him, that they will ALSO hold THAT against me (like I didn't care enough yadda yadda). Guest guest
Now that's a good question. I wonder why. I have long hair, but refuse to use a hair dryer, I find that it makes my hair feel sticky. I think the reason is that the hot air is too intense for the hair, so then they are more oily to get rid of the dry feeling. I just went outside and the wind and sun just have to do the trick. Guest guest
Sweetie, I'm so sorry that it went so bad for you. I really hoped it will get better. Why this world must have atty all over the place and judges to fix everything, I don't know. They have no idea how you feel or what you're capable of or not. I'm really truly sorry. Wish there was something I could do to make the hurt less.Take care of yourself sweetie, and hang in there. It's the only thing you can do.Love & hugsFrom: Akiba To: MSersLife Sent: Wednesday, September 30, 2009 7:39:25 PMSubject: Re: lucky MSers, Ann I have no clue.
