Guest guest
Hi , It's good to hear from you again and to hear you sounding optimistic about the future. I'm so glad that you decided to persue your dx...sooooo glad. I'm also glad to hear that your good uterus is large and in charge! I think your plan sounds great. (hey guess what? Now you might just be able to join into that wonderful world of tampon wearing women!) *grin* Keep hanging in there. You've come such a long (hard, trying) way, and I really feel that things are going to work out well for you in the end. Sending you BIG HUGS! Guest guest
, It's good to hear from you. You are sounding much better, emotionally, although I'm sure this is still very difficult to handle. I'm thankful was able to help you reach a decision you are comfortable with. I hope you are a regular around here soon, providing cheetos, comfort, advice and pointing out the idiotburgers soon. Take as much time as you need. Becki 26, UU
Guest guest
Hi , I'm sorry that they stretched you during the lap/hys and made things painful for you. Good to hear that you are devising a plan. The tubal lig sounds like a good idea. None of my business and this is an aggressive step, but I would think that IVF would be an optimal choice for you if you worry about getting pg in the wrong side. Any of your drs discuss options with you? or did they just wish you godspeed ttc? > He > was like " MAs are a spectrum ... and yours is just a shade that I've > never heard of. " Loooooooooovely. We always knew you were unique ;o) Good luck with the tubal and take good care of yourself, Sara SU resected
Guest guest
, I am so glad to hear from you. It sounds like you have a solid game plan in place. June is around the corner, although I am sure it seems like an eternity to you. The good news - you will have a a true UU when you are done! I am thrilled for you. I know it is a long road. My thoughts are with you. Hollie K
Guest guest
- I knew there had to be a silver lining in that cloud!! And, if anyone could find it, I knew you would!! You have a gift for that!! The idea of a tubal ligation sounds like the perfect solution!! I'm sure that you are anxious to get it done & starting working on TTC. Will they be able to do the tubal lig & the vaginal septum excision at the same time? I would think that it might be possible to have both done on the same day. Guest guest
Hi guys, Thank you so much for all your hugs. I know I'll get the spring in my step sooner or later ... you guys have really helped. To answer a couple questions: Sara-- Once the tube is ligated, the icky uterus is basically a safe dead- end. We'll try naturally. If that doesn't work, we'll try guided IUI (possibly w/trigger injections) with US ovulation monitoring. Maybe we'll look at IVF if all that doesn't work :-) Tammy -- Thank heavens, both the ligation and the vaginal septum resection will be in the same procedure. Jill -- YAY! TAMPONS!! Maybe I'll buy a celebratory pkg for my 1st AF <grin> I've been following your posts ... your happy updates are always a bright spot in my day :-) Nikki T -- What day is your HSG on? I'll be thinking of you and crossing my fingers for you. I'd cross my uteri too, but they're fused :-) Thank you again for the warm wishes ... the prognosis IS good ... its just so dang far away :-) Take care, 28, asymmetrical fused UD, bicollis, vaginal septum

Guest guest
Hey Nikkie-buddy, Oh shoot. I know this is the right plan of attack (your doc sounds like Dr Reindollar's twin) but I was REALLY, REALLY hoping he'd take a look and say, " Tada! Get pregnant! " :-( I totally know where you're coming from ... I was so sad to realize I had to have the surgery. I don't know why it bugged me so much - maybe I felt even more abnormal than I already did. I'm so glad you've found a doc you can trust - did he say how far out he was booking? Because you have hurry up so we can TTC together (just teasing, of course <grin>) Many hugs,
Guest guest
Hi Nicki, I just wanted to give you a hug since you are feeling down. I know that being delayed can be such a disappointment. But on the other hand, it sounds like you have a really good plan in place. I wish you well during the surgery. It's always scary that the dr won't know exactly what to do until they are in there, but I think the lap/hys is a really good step forward. We're here for you to get you through the next few months. How long do you have to be on lupron? Hang in there ) Hugs, Sara 35, SU resected x2
