One of our daughters recently changed over to the 3G processsor. AFter wearing

it for maybe a month, she said it quit working. I sent it back to our implant

center, and they sent it back to us and said it wasn't broken. They suggested

changing from the Varta batteries to Toshiba's. Has anyone seen better

performance with the Toshiba's? And if so, where do you get yours? Is it

correct that they are about $4.50 per each 6-pack?

Thanks in advance. Tish

Hi,

Yes, our son didn't do well with the Vartas. He's doing much better with the

Toshibas. I haven't checked, but I imagine buying them in bulk from Cochlear

Corp. is the cheapest way to go. They did swap out the batteries for us once

we decided the Vartas weren't what he needed. Our son can only get two days

out of the Toshibas, so it's going to be expensive! UGH!

Good luck,

Kim
