I was wondering if anyone had concerns about the chemicals such as

GoreTex (which has teflon, known to be a danger) or MPX used in kid's

parkas. It seems that in order for a jacket to be water repellent it

has to have some sort of chemical coating, but given my son's issues

(and my new realization of these problems) I feel anxious about buying

him a new parka. Any suggestions/info would be greatly appreciated..

, I am kind of feeling sick to my stomach right now

after reading your post about goretex. Goretex is in some dental

flosses, the one's made for tight contacts. Ie. Glide. I didn't

even think it could be harmful. I reccomend it all the time for

patients who say they don't floss because their teeth are so tight

it shreds. I'm going to have to think about this. Thanks,
