Hi Terry, your post brings up many issues that are unresolved but any could be important. I am reminded of the religious sect, the " Shakers, " they generally led very simple, well organized but active lives, lot's of veggies, very low stress, and they had very long very healthy lives. No sex but I would tend to overlook that issue. The low stress levels I think are very important. Stress can be very intrusive and has become a part of our everyday lives. Personal relationships are stressed, traffic woes, deadlines, very busy schedules for years on end, etc.. I believe anything you can do to eliminate stress is beneficial in whatever you are dealing with in your life. Just read the nation with the highest percentage of the population over 65 is Italy and the second is Japan. The USA is fifty-second among nations of the world but gaining ground fast. The projection is that by 2030 the whole population of the USA will be reflective of that currently enjoyed by the state of Florida with the over sixty-five percentage of the population at about 19%. That likely will cause many changes within the lifestyle of the USA and I'll bet a higher incidence of chronic Panc. So, reduce stress, hope for relief or maybe even a cure, grow older gracefully, eat your veggies, and try to have a pain free day Best wishes, Poncho - GA

Guest guest
Ok. Well the myth that you can use cooking spray and it is fat free is just that, a myth. Cooking spray such as Pam is made of oil. It is 100% Fat. The reason they can get away with calling it Fat free is because the serving size is below a certain amount. Take a look, it says 1/3 of a sec is a serving size.....Who only sprays Pam for that long...something to think about.....lol I hope this finds you and yours well Mark E. There is also Butter Buds and a few other things you can use. I know they don't taste as good, but it's better than nothing. > roguekc@... wrote: Whatever happened to the good ole' days of lard and bacon fat? > Good grief, my grandparents and great grandparents have all (minus one) > lived between 80 and 98 years old. > Of course, they actually WORKED all day every day of their lives (like... > with their BODIES!)
