I think when you first get them removed your metal overload will go up-

[ ] one month after

It is a little more than a month since i had my amalgam fillings out,

and i have been very sick mentally, mostly unable to sleep, candida

recurrence, flushing. Can I hope these are detox reactions or could

this spell a bad reaction to having the fillings removed?

What did they use to replace them? What supplements do you take?

They replaced them with gold/platinum high alloy.

I take so many supplements it would be a long

list. I do take matrix minerals & supplements

that were recommended by hugnet.com.

My dentist used some precautions, lots of cool water and a vacuum for

the dust. He says he doesn't do the mouth search for pieces and

tattoos - does anyone know how i can i can find a dentist who does?

I am worried, I am having severe symptoms again that I thought were

gone five years ago. it's been over a month since having the fillings

out. have i done myself more damage? What are the expected

reactions and time frames for post removal-reactions? my dr. said to

expect about three weeks of malaise, but this has been much more than

that.

Hi Juli,

It doesn't seem to me as if your dentist was using a safe protocol for amalgam

removal. Did he drill the fillings out or cut them into large pieces to remove?

The mercury dust might have caused your present ill health. Maybe you should

start chelating with DMSA on a very low dose using Andy's protocol. Do you use

saunas? This might help.

Dagmar.

Mine did x-rays after removing the amalgam before placing the composite fillings

to make sure he had it all out...Does your dentist has a mercury-free practice

or does he still place amalgams?

Did they remove all the amlagams before placing the gold? Amalgam and gold in

the mouth at the same time even for a little while is bad news. The gold speeds

up the break down of the mercury causing more exposure...

, I'm sorry you're having such a rough time lately. Did your dentist

give you a separate air supply during the amalgam removal? Didn't you have

them all done at one time? And wasn't it by a Huggins dentist?

You can find links to a handful of lists of non-amalgam

and " biological " dentists, here:

http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/HOW_TO_find_doctor.html

Look for the section on dentists. Then call around to find

whatever you want or think is needed.

good wishes,

Moria

Hi Juli,

It may be that you are reacting to some exposure during

amalgam replacement OR it may be that your body is happily

dumping more amalgam now that you have gotten the amalgam

out. Or it may be a bit of both.

In any case, starting to chelate (slowly) is likely to

help you feel better.

good wishes,

Moria
