Guest guest
Hi Sam had DPT Hib Polio, wer didn;t have any noticable reaction to vaccines, he got a bad case of chicken pox at 5 months old. He meets the counting rules, and has Lead problem. If you can afford it then its a good idea to get the hair test. He regressed betwen 13-18 months. HTH Mandi in UK Ever grateful we refused the MMR > I'm brand new to all of this so please forgive my ignorance, but I'm > wondering how many children who never had any negative reaction > (nothing out of the ordinary, not even a fever) to any vaccinations > later turned out to show high or toxic (not sure of the proper > terminology here) levels of mercury? Guest guest
Forgive me, I just went back over my notes and he did get very sick two days after his six month check up (fever, vomiting and green diarrhea) but the doctor said that was Rotavirus? [ ] Vaccine reaction & autism vs. no vaccine reaction & autism I'm brand new to all of this so please forgive my ignorance, but I'm wondering how many children who never had any negative reaction (nothing out of the ordinary, not even a fever) to any vaccinations later turned out to show high or toxic (not sure of the proper terminology here) levels of mercury? My son (35 months old)may be autistic, but he never had any bad reactions to any vaccinations so I'm wondering if I should do the hair test, etc... or is that only a route taken by parents whose children had an obvious bad experience with a vaccine? Atleast I dont remember anything out of the " ordinary " .My pediatrician always administered tylenol in the office and instructed me to do so for the next 24-48 hours after immunizations so he might have had a fever???? Also, the tylenol made him sleep alot and groggy- I think it was the tylenol! But as for really noticeable reactions-NONE, and his hair test showed he is mercury toxic now (he's 8) . I would definitely do the hair test if I were you. All the best, Lori

I don't know. I would GUESS (and I am only guessing) that it is pretty common. In terms of " sources of exposure " : Vaccines are certainly a BIG source of mercury exposure. There are other possible sources of mercury exposure and there are also a number of other toxic metals he could have been exposed to, through many sources. Drinking water, and flame retardant bedding and pajamas are some sources. You can find a LONG list of sources of exposure to various toxic metals, here: http://www.danasview.net/metals.htm > My son (35 months old)may be > autistic, but he never had any bad reactions to any vaccinations so > I'm wondering if I should do the hair test, etc... or is that only a > route taken by parents whose children had an obvious bad experience > with a vaccine? It may still be helpful. It costs about $40 to $80 depending on how/where you order it. And nice in that there is no blood draw involved! /files/HOW_TO_hair_test best, Moria
Guest guest
---I would definitely consider the option of chelation. My son did not have any " noticeable " reactions, or should I say anything other than what the CDC considered to be a " normal reaction " such as slight redness, swelling almost unnoticeable. He regressed into " autism " soon after his 15 month shots, within 2 weeks. He was diagnosed at 22 months after lots of " tests. " He still had a few words in his vocabulary, but did not progress much. At the age of 3 1/2 he got a tetanus shot and lost all words. My son is 12 and has not spoken at all since then. I urge you to do all you can now while he is young. Hind sight is 20/20, but doesn't help much. Guest guest
Hi. My son never had any adverse reaction from any of his vaccines, with the exception of the chicken pox vac. He had several quarter size pox marks in his diaper area several days after the vaccine. There was never fevers, irritable behavior, sleeplessness, redness at the injection site, etc. I did a hair test, and he is metal toxic. The hair test is easy and inexpensive, well worth it to check. --- In , " sawyersailor " <sawyera@a...> wrote: > I'm brand new to all of this so please forgive my ignorance, but I'm > wondering how many children who never had any negative reaction > (nothing out of the ordinary, not even a fever) to any vaccinations > later turned out to show high or toxic (not sure of the proper > terminology here) levels of mercury? Guest guest
I think we all probably did the tylenol too. And now we know that tylenol is hard on the liver! So that just added to the stress the kids were already under from the vaccines. Guest guest
My son (7yo, PDD/NOS) never had a noticeable reaction to a vaccine. I remember he did have uncontrollable screaming for an ear infection, but don't remember if it was close to a vaccine. He had several ear infections. Now that he is on GFCFSF Corn free, he no longer gets the ear infections. He was delayed in language from the start. He does not meet the counting rules, but has high Lead and Silver. I never would have suspected that. I just got a filter for our drinking water. I started chelating-- only 2 rounds, and have seen some positive results. I never tested my son for metals, but he no longer qualifies as autistic because of chelation. He never showed any bad reactions to any vax except to the HepB vax at 2 days old. He never regressed either, he was always different. Here is his story, if you are interested http://www.danasview.net/myson.htm Dana
Guest guest
Can anyone tell me which lab they would suggest for the Hair Analysis to rule out mercury. I have a friend who is having some difficulty with her 3 year old. Sharon Crist
