Guest guest Posted December 10, 2003 Report Share Posted December 10, 2003 I fixed Shan a yummy treat that looked scrumptous and had a lot of volume to it. Here's what I did: Whipped egg white until very stiff. Added sweetner of choice and pinch of salt to egg white before it was fully stiff and then whipped it until desired stiffness. Weighed out desired amount of whipped egg white and then placed it on a nonstick cookie sheet (made several; I also greased it minimally to ensure it would not stick). Baked for 10-15 min. on 360deg F (180 C) and then baked it for 1.5 hours at 200 F (100 C). When cool placed 10g yogurt cream on top along with 5gm of strawberries. Shan really liked this. I used the meal planner and figured out how much egg white I wanted and then added the fat to get the ratio needed. They turned out to be 50 calories each at her desired ratio.
