Guest guest Posted February 4, 2004 Report Share Posted February 4, 2004 Hi Ardie.....thanks for your input. I have no idea why vitamins make me feel so ill but I do know iron don't bother me. I sometimes have to take iron because of anemia. I'll tell ya thou......I feel like I'm gonna die after taking a multi-vitamin for only a few days! At first I didn't realize what was causing me to feel that way, but after starting to take a multi-vitamin a few times, I started to put two and two together. My son, who's a personal trainer said he thought that maybe the vitamins were being released into my system faster that my body could handle it. That's a thought...I guess. hugs... Karol Karol Dear Karol, yes I have known of people who have had that problem when taking multi-vitamins, especially if they contain iron. Iron made me itch, caused insomnia, upset tummy, and my husband has the same symptoms, so it has nothing to do with my Lupus. Guest guest Posted February 18, 2004 Report Share Posted February 18, 2004 Well I got rid of my kids by 1) sending one off the job corp and 2) pissing the other one off so bad he moved out!! So now I have the computer when ever I want, except when is home on weekends. My dad has RA real bad, so I know how you worry about your mom. And dad sits down there and worries about me. I told him one time not to worry about me as he was in alot more pain than I was. He yelled back and said so! your still in pain! Can't win with him! He is more bullheaded than I am. Except he says it's called "set in his way". What meds is your mom on? They want to start my dad on remicade soon. Most of his meds are not doing any good as he has been on them so long.
