Guest guest Posted April 18, 2011 Report Share Posted April 18, 2011 I'm new to this group and wondering if there is a " good place " to start learning about how to stop the cycle of emotional eating. It's not just a behavior problem, but because I have IBS I really need to drop 45 lbs and start eating foods that doesn't have an adverse effect on my body. I have been under quite a bit of stress the last several years... and I really need and desire to move forward to resolve my financial and family situation. Eating appears to be of comfort for me, but I still need to stop " the cycle " of eating when I'm not hungry and snacking on foods that aren't completely healthy for me.
