Guest guest
For my son, the doc recommended for him (dx PDD) - one in the morning and one in the evening - this was for Cormega in addition to the CLO. The reason we use Cormega is that for every 4 proofs of purchase, I get a free box. Good luck, Kath
Guest guest
I think one cap is enough. I gave my son two in one day once and he got nightmares and a nosebleed (omega 3 thins the blood) You could try EyeQ (www.equzen.com) which is quite palatable. It comes in tiny micro-caps or in bottles. You could freeze half the bottle and use the other half so that it doesn't go rancid Steve
Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion. We have also tried Coromega--I think it is generally a good product. My son takes them willingly, my duaghter is hit-or-miss. My kids have major phenol sensitivity (tho' seems to be getting better slowly with chelation) and I think the orange bothers her. She does not like orange juice either-----maybe she " knows " it's a problem for her. --Lissy Re: [ ] How much omega-3s/fish oil?? Guest guest
Hi Lissy, it must be some mistake - how 1000mg capsule can contain 1200mg EPA plus other staff - it's impossible :-) I have EPA capsules bought long time ago - they are so big that my son also could not swallow them - and the bottle says that each capsule has 450mg EPA, 100 mg DHA and 50mg other Omega3. We switched to Omega Brite and Pro DHA - they have equally small size( Omega Brite is very high in EPA, Pro DHA is higher in DHA), and Coromega, which is tasty. You can order omega Brite from www.omegabrite.com . I heard at some DAN! conference that at least several grams a day - like 3 grams (more is better) - is recommended. Guest guest
Lissy, I would better give them in the morning and afternoon - it seems that evening doses really can cause bad sleep. Guest guest
the lcp connection recommends 450 mg DHA daily for three months and then 1/2 of that afterwards. this is what i give ben and claudia. I also rub skin with 1000mg primprose oil. holly
