Guest guest
Ladies, Just wanted to test my " theories " to see if I'm thinking along the right lines or not. Septum resection can fail due to: a) failure of the doc to cut up far enough (due to lack of experience, improper training, etc?) the tissue " falls back " and re-fuses if it's a large septum, therefore use of a balloon with large septums is beneficial? Is this right? G 31 bu/su??

If a surgeon is too cautious with his cutting, then it is more likely to fall back down. My first surgery (the one that failed), I did not have a balloon and my septum was so wide, that the weight of it made it fall back down. So then it fuses together again. The second time I had no laprascope, only the hysteroscope. I did have to wear a balloon for a week after surgery. That seemed to do the trick because the stupid thing is gone now. Don't worry; most people only have to have it done once! Cyn, 36 SU resected x2 ttc
