Guest guest
Hey, I love brussel sprouts and assume others like them too, as you can get them in most stores. Don't know what to tell you, I don't think that should be normal. Have you talked about it with your doctor? Guest guest
Start keeping a diary .. or remember back if you can .. to what you ate the day before you did the upchuck thingy. This includes medication (your regular stuff, pain meds, vitamins, or even cough medicine). You may find a clue to what is making you sick. (I found I was allergic to the yellow Triaminic this way. I wasnt allergic to the cough medicine, but to the yellow dye that colored it (tartranzine, yellow dye #5 is a known allergen for a lot of people). Another thing that I would be concerned about would be reflux disease. This happens when you go to bed with a full stomach (or in severe cases, with any food or liquid in the tummy) .. you lie down flat, and because the sphincter valve between the stomach and the esophagus is malfunctioning (not closing correctly), the food runs back up into the esophagus.. irritating the throat .. sometimes causing pain .. sometimes not .. but it sometimes causes nausea. As for sleeping so hard afterwards, that might be from the imbalance in your electrolytes. I have reflux disease and it is mainly managed with Prevacid, but every once in awhile I will have an attack of it and throw up. I now keep a bottle of pedialyte in the refrigerator so I can drink some afterwards. It helps with the " exhausted, cant move, let me sleep " feelings I used to get every time I threw up. good luck.. Guest guest
It is not just you!!! A couple weeks ago I threw up all over my pillow. Thank goodness it was just my pillow and it had a heavy pillow cover plus a pillow case on it. I was also just sitting in my recliner the other day when the nausea hit. I don't always throw up, so thought I best go get my trusty pan for just in case. I never made it out of the chair. It was explosive and then I gagged with what I've always called the dry heaves. Such fun. My doctor said that this nausea is caused from the constipation and celiac sprue. Then there's the nausea from Lupus. But - even though this is what is going on with me sure doesn't mean it is the same for you. There's all sorts of things it could be, including ulcers. Need to see the doctor!! Hugs - a B is it just me..... > K this has happened a couple of times in the past month or so and if iwas > honest a few times before that... does anyone else wake up from a deadsound > sleep, kind of confused as to why you just woke up then go to get up and > forcefully upchuck. i mean throwing up so hard you see white swirlylights. > Then when i am done turning my stomach inside out i end up sleepingfor > the vast majority of that day. > > If it's just me then in a weird way i am glad because this stuff truely > sucks brussel sprouts (my apologies to anyone that actually likes themini > cabbages) > > BMW > > _________________________________________________________________ > There are now three new levels of MSN Hotmail Extra Storage! Guest guest
Hi there How are you feeling? I was wondering if you suffer from migraines? Sometimes if I have one that starts in the middle of the night, I wake up like that with the horrible throwing up and then sleep and sleep and at some point I realize that it's because of a migraine that maybe hadn't actually come on totally while I was sleeping, then when I get around to getting up, that's when it hits me. Just a thought. (And I don't like the big brussel sprouts, just the " baby brussels " that don't have that stink or *bad chill* taste =)) Take care! Chell is it just me..... > K this has happened a couple of times in the past month or so and if i was > honest a few times before that... does anyone else wake up from a dead sound > sleep, kind of confused as to why you just woke up then go to get up and > forcefully upchuck. i mean throwing up so hard you see white swirly lights. > Then when i am done turning my stomach inside out i end up sleeping for > the vast majority of that day. > > If it's just me then in a weird way i am glad because this stuff truely > sucks brussel sprouts (my apologies to anyone that actually likes the mini > cabbages) > > BMW > > _________________________________________________________________ > There are now three new levels of MSN Hotmail Extra Storage!
