Amen! I want to see all my movie options first, and then I'll chose which

steps I want to get the ending I want :-).

Good luck with your appointment Aleida!

Hi Aleida

> BTW, are you seeing Dr. Chantilis, or a different Dr?

> I noticed you said " she " . Just curious.

Yes, his nurse called with the results. I am even more impressed

with Dr Chantilis than I have been in the past. He seems to have

taken a renewed interest in my plight.

Thanks for asking. I am thinking abou you.

Aleida-

I know I am horribly late with my response, but I did want you to know that

you are in my thoughts. I am glad that your RE is going to follow you more

closely this cycle - by now you have probably had O day...hopefully with DH

in the same area code! Did your RE discuss how long he wants you to ttc

naturally before trying anything else?

I am sending baby dust your way!

Hah! Anyone with a MIL visiting gets a free pass from me. : -)

I thought the plan was to ttc for 6 mos, but I couldn't remember. How do

you feel about the past 6 cycles? Do you feel like they were good, 'all

systems go' cycles? BMS on the right days, etc, etc? I know you and DH

are sometimes geographically challenged. And we know that you conceived

once - so, conception is possible. So you know that it can happen...that's

a good thing. How long you ttc this round is really up to you and how you

feel. Hopefully, it will be a non-issue...you will just get to start

obsessing about pregnancy, not conception. Ooops. Did I say obsessing -

that's my problem, not yours! :-)

Regarding surgery and the pros and cons....I know it is scary and I too

had nightmares about waking up to a butcher job....I was just mortified at

the thought that my decision to have the surgery could actually leave me

worse off than before. Again, that was my own personal psychosis. All I

can do is share how I feel about it and hope that it helps shed some light

for you......After my MRI failed to show us anything of importance, I, like

you had decided to just go ahead and ttc. To heck with my crazy pessimism,

the doctors were probably right anyway! But I wasn't really comfortable

with it. I kept telling myself I didn't have a choice and that we would

have to travel too far, etc., etc. Fortunately, circumstances spun out of

control and in a matter of days I ended up with that pie in the sky; a

lap/hyst. That was the best thing I could have done for myself. The

surgery gave me peace of mind in knowing that I had done every single thing

I could to make sure that my WU was in the best possible shape it could

be. Now, I am not saying that every MA needs to run out and have

surgery. In my case there were too many factors that were inconsistent

with the 'typical' UD for me to be satisfied. There was too big of a chance

that I was SU bicollis and nobody could give me any solid reasons to just

'trust' that I was UD. And, in a way I was right, I'm not a normal UD,

but I am UD. So I finally had the answer to my question. Did my uteri

cause my m/c? Would my uteri cause more babies to die? Probably

not. Yep, you're right, I can ttc to my heart's content (until

January) w/o worrying about my danged 'ol uteri. They're there. They are

weird. I can deal with that. (most days) :-)

thanks for reminding me about those pix...he was supposed to mail them

after my post op appt....I just called the office to ask where they were.

In Taking Charge of Your Fertility she talks about the phenomenon of the

" slow rise " (at least I think that's what she calls it). She says in that case

to

pay close attention to your cervical mucus - the last day of egg-white CM is

your O day, even if your temp was slower to rise. To track this temp wise

" look for the first time your temperature rises at least one-tenth degree above

the highest of the last 6 temperatures. Temember that ovulation most likely

occurs the day of, or the day after the Peak Day, which is the last day of

eggwhite-quality cervical fluid or lubricative vaginal sensation. "

HTH - a much baby dust to you!

Glad to be of service.... :-)

Hehehe. Thank you for that - that was the PERFECT way to start my

Monday!!! That certainly got me smiling!
