Guest guest
Hi, I had my 15 week appt last Thurs. Everything went well. They sure don't do much at these appts, do they? Well, nobody told me at the last appt to bring a 1st morning urine sample with, so I got a " talking to " from the nurse and they made sure they sent me home with a pee cup. My bp was a little high b/c I had rushed there from work and didn't have time to catch my breath before they strapped the cuff on me. I was hoping that they would do a cervix check - even if only a manual check. But she did not do one. I mentioned that b/c I was resected SU I was hoping that they would monitor this closely...after coming this far, I'd rather not worry about IC. But she said it was not necessary. She wasn't insensitive, but just gave me the impression that it was overkill to worry about it. Anyone else have this happen? I'm going to demand a cervix check if it's not done at the next appt. I meet with another member of the practice for that appt. I got to hear the heartbeat again...that's my favorite part of the appt. I could hear when s/he moved around. I also got to schedule my u/s for May 17...I can't wait. Thanks for letting me share, Sara SU resected x2, 15w3d
