Guest guest Posted June 25, 2004 Report Share Posted June 25, 2004 I think they get pretty they older they get when they wtart to have babies. Some of them are Burgendy foliage. We have them around the condo in various gardens and they are quite beautiful when they grow their newser foliage. Ugly plant This is the butt-ugly plant Ronnie's work sent me during my last surgery. Can anyone tell me what it is and how to care for it? All they said when they delivered it (like I remember anything else that day!) was water it at the leaves and fill the "cups" in the leaves with water. A friend of mine said it's a bromeliad (she pronounces is bromelaid... brom-a-laid not bro-mill-ee-ad) btu I looked those up and it doesn't look the same and it says those are air plants. This one is planted in soil and it's huge. Do I need to transplant it? Can I plant it in the ground outside? How big does it get? It already looks too big for the container. They don't have to worrry. I don't have to have it taken away because I am absolutely too totally done in fatigue wise to ever do that. My days of being Superwoman are long gone.....
