Hi Rose,

What type of yeast is it?I think the kids do eat alot of what their bodies

shouldn't have sometimes. Maybe your son needs more folic acid or vitamin C.

Maybe alot more antioxidants(remeber they also help to control yeast).

Have you considered lutein intolerance? This sounds like my son, I had to

remove luteins [generally orange, red, and green foods]

plus a few other things. Even enzymes did not help this problem. Chelation

helped, but it did take over 70 rounds.

Thanks, Dana. I had not considered lutein intolerance but am

considering it now. Rose

Thanks so much for posting the health article on Overgrowth of Yeast,

Fungus. My son may have a fungus because I have given him peanut

butter (Scudder's) natural peanut butter every day to fatten him in

addtion to many other things. He only eats foods allowed on SCD. He

eats a well balanced diet of many vegetables and allowed

carbohydrates and some meat. And yes, he does eat pork which is also

mentioned in the article you posted. This article is very inciteful.

I don't know what kind of yeast he has, but he probably has a fungus.

He gets a lot of vitamin C and a regular amount of folic acid. But

he may need more antioxidants.
