> Hi -- Per my dr. I need to be on a HIGH SODIUM diet due to low blood

pressure issues and this is very tough on a gluten free diet since I

can't go load up on fast food, processed foods. I seem to recall some

mention of some commercial GF canned soups. Any suggestions

> appreciated. I add salt now to my foods, drink gatorade, some things

from trader joe's are higher in sodium but for the most part I've been a

vegetarian, fresh veggies, and I was a heavy pretty heavy on the grains

prediagnosis. THX!!

It took me awhile to adjust my palate, but I had to do it for the same

reasons.

I use Trocomare or Herbamare seasoned salt once I get my food on my plate.

Instead of a salt shaker, I use a salt well and add salt by the quarter

teaspoon to just about everything I cook. I still don't overly salt my

food, but I make sure I don't *undersalt* it, either.

Popcorn with salted butter, trocomare, and nutritional yeast.

Tortilla chips with salsa or hummus.

Commercial lemon pepper and garlic pepper blends always contain salt.

They're nice on steamed veggies.

Take a look at a diet for folks with high blood pressure and look at the

forbidden list. ;) Go for the veggie things on that list. Pickles in

brine, nadiada moong (indian store--fried mung beans), potato chips, etc.
