DOES ANYONE HAVE A BETTER WAY TO DESCRIBETHE HEAD PAIN BETTER THAN

MINE?

> (FEELS LIKE SOMEONE PUT AN ELASTIC BAND AROUND MY NECK AND CUT OFF

ALL CICULATION)

Hi ,

That's a pretty good description. This is what I used to say:

Imagine that you are crossing the street and you get hit square in

the head by the mirror of a Mack truck that was going 80 mph in a 30

mph zone. That's NOT how my headaches feel.

Now, imagine that it's 3 days later and the experts at the hospital

have rebuilt your skull using wires, screws and pins .. but they were

out of pain medication. That's NOT how it feels either.

Finally, imagine that you were released from the hospital on day 3

and are on your way to get some pain medications at the nearest

pharmacy and that same Mack Truck (doing 80 mph in a 30 mph zone)

hits you AGAIN..

THAT'S what my headaches feel like.

Hi Debbie,

Is your friend's husband a veteran of the armed forces? If so he may be

eligible for medical care with the Veteran's Administration. I don't

have any other ideas off hand. Good luck!

No access to a computer? What about the Public Library--anyone can use the

computers there.

As for the main question, she should contact the pharmecutical companies

directly.
