Thanks Bobbi,

Yes, we used the nebulizer twice and were seeing an increase in seizures. I was

just trying to think of anything we were doing differently. I assumed it was ok

to use the nebulizer, but was just checking.

Hi,

Do you mean albuterol from a nebulizer machine? My son uses a

nebulizer several times a year because he gets croup at the drop of a hat and

does

fine with it. If the doctor wants to give her oral albuterol it might need to

be compounded to be sugar free. I have found that around here in WV you need a

doctor to write on the prescription to sweeten only with liquid saccharin or

they won't do it. I usually do it myself and add a few drops of safe

flavoring to the bottle. An inhaler should be OK. Just ask the pharmacist to

make

sure it's sugar free. Sometimes it crops up in strange places in meds as a

stabilizer.
