Kara underwent her second neurosurgical procedure towards the end of March at North Shore University Hospital. While at North Shore ASAP video taped her arrival, parts of the OR time, and the recuperation of Tara along with segments with her family. Kara also provided her fine artwork for the ASAP Gala in April. At the time of the Gala, her video tape was also shown to those gathered. I was just notified that Kara had emergency surgery yesterday at North Shore and could use encouragement of your prayers and cards. I will be going to North Shore tomorrow to pick up Pam Holmes and would love to bring a stack of emails to Kara's parents. I am sure her parents are extremely tired at this point.
